How does a matka result work?
Three digits between 0 and 9 are drawn — for example 1, 5 and 7. They form the panna (157). Their total is 13, and its last digit, 3, is the ank. The open result is shown as 157-3. The close is drawn the same way; the open and close anks together make the two-digit jodi, and the full result reads like 157-38-280.
Before you play
Know the market timings (see the time table), the different bet types — single ank, jodi, single/double/triple panna, half and full sangam — and their payout rates inside the app. Play only with money you can afford to lose. You must be 18 or older.
❓ FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Q1: What is matka?
Matka is a numbers game. For each market three digits (a panna) are drawn for the open and again for the close. The last digit of each panna's total is the ank, and the two anks together form the two-digit jodi. Players bet on the ank, the jodi or the panna before the market closes.
Q2: Which markets and games can I play?
Every market listed on the home page - morning, day and night bazaars - plus the hourly Starline game. All of them are available inside the app, with live results published on this website.
Q3: When are results declared?
Each market has an open time and a close time (see the Time Table page). The open result is declared shortly after the open time and the close result shortly after the close time. Starline results are declared every hour from 10 AM to 11 PM.
Q4: What is a jodi chart and a panel chart?
A jodi chart lists the two-digit jodi of every day, one row per week. A panel chart shows the complete result - open panna, jodi and close panna - for every day. Both are free and update automatically when a result is declared.
Q5: What do the stars (***) mean?
Stars mean the result has not been declared yet, or the market was closed that day (holiday).
Q6: Is playing allowed where I live?
Laws differ from state to state in India. It is your responsibility to check the rules that apply to you. This website only displays results and record charts. You must be 18 or older to play.
