Satta Matka Terms & Meanings

Welcome to the A-Z glossary for Satta Matka. Below you’ll find clear, concise definitions of the most common terms used in today’s markets.

• Matka – The traditional clay pot that originally held the game’s draw; today it refers to the betting market itself.
• Panna (Patti) – A three-digit number such as 137. Each digit is drawn independently, and the sum of its digits determines the ank.
• Single Panna – A panna whose three digits are all different (e.g., 123). It is a common bet type.
• Double Panna – A panna where one digit repeats (e.g., 112). It offers a different odds profile.
• Triple Panna – A panna with all three digits the same (e.g., 777). It is rare and usually carries high payouts.
• Ank – The last digit of the sum of a panna’s three digits. For 137, 1+3+7=11, so the ank is 1.
• Open – The first panna drawn in a market. Its ank becomes the first digit of the jodi.
• Close – The second panna drawn. Its ank becomes the second digit of the jodi.
• Jodi – A two-digit number formed by concatenating the open ank and close ank (e.g., 16). It is a popular bet type.
• Cut / Cut Ank - The digit five away from a given ank (the cut of 0 is 5, of 1 is 6, of 2 is 7, and so on). A jodi made of an ank and its cut, such as 16 or 27, is often shown in red on the charts.
• Sangam – A bet that combines a panna and an ank. Half Sangam pairs one ank with a single panna; Full Sangam pairs the open and close pannas together.
• Market / Bazar – The overall betting arena for a particular day, including all open and close draws.
• Result – The complete outcome of a market, written as open_panna-jodi-close_panna (e.g., 137-16-268).
• Jodi Chart – A weekly table that lists the jodi for each day, helping bettors spot patterns.
• Panel Chart – A daily snapshot showing the open panna, jodi, and close panna side by side.
• Starline - A fast game format with a result roughly every hour through the day. Each Starline result is a single panna and its ank; Kuber Games shows them in the Starline section with their own record chart.
• Holiday – A day when the market is closed or operates on a different schedule, often affecting betting patterns.
